At Basque Beans Coffee, we celebrate coffees that reflect the land and the people who cultivate them. This flavor comes from the Kintamani Highlands of Central Bali, where producers organized through the traditional Subak Abian (SA) farming structure grow coffee in rich volcanic loam soils at elevations between 1200–1600 MASL.
Harvested from May through October, the beans are hand-picked and processed using the traditional wet-hulled method, followed by a two-step sun-drying process on raised beds. The result is a clean and balanced cup with tasting notes of bakers chocolate, orange peel, juniper, and molasses.
This coffee is produced from a mix of Bourbon, Typica (S795 & USDA 762), and Catimor varietals grown in the fertile highlands of Bali.
